Fort Worth, Texas is known throughout the world as “Cowtown” and is the seat of Tarrant County. Interesting, the city limits extend into neighboring Denton, Johnson, Parker, and Wise counties. This historic city is the sixteenth largest city in the country with a population just over 740,000 people. Originally founded as a military post by the Army along the Trinity River in 1849, the region has been home to a rich Native American heritage long before. Fort Worth served a pivotal role as our nation expanded and grew after the Mexican American War and Civil War. In times of peace, the Chisholm Trail connected the more developed Eastern seaboard with the cattle and ranching industry in Texas. Later when the first railroads arrived, the Fort Worth Stockyards grew in prominence.
In more recent years, Fort Worth has become an important convention and tourist destination. Fort Worth has always embraced its rich Western heritage. World class museums like Amon G Carter Museum, the Kimball Art Museum and Fort Worth Museum of Science and History are found in Fort Worth. Fort Worth also boasts it’s nationally recognized, Fort Worth Zoo. In the heart of downtown, you will find Sundance Square with restaurants, bars, and shopping. Fort Worth is also home to Texas Christian University (TCU).
Fort Worth annually holds many nationally and internationally recognized events of the PGA Colonial Golf Tournament, NASCAR and IndyCar Series sanctioned races at Texas Motor Speedway, the Cowtown Marathon, and the Main Street Arts Festival. The Fort Worth office is conveniently located in the hospital district south of Downtown, about one minute south of Interstate 30. The office is located in the Plaza Professional building at 800 8th Ave., Suite 240 and is conveniently located near Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, Cook Children's Hospital, Baylor All Saints Hospital, and Plaza Medical Hospital. Office Hours at the Fort Worth office are Tuesday mornings 8:30 am-11:30 am and Thursday mornings 8:30 am-11:30 am.
