Plastic Surgery Parker County
Parker County is a west of Tarrant County and has a rich western history. Its major cities of Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Aledo, and Azle share a strong connection to its rural, agrarian past and modern master planned communities. The seat of the county Weatherford and the region were settled by pioneers back into the mid 1800s, but the region had been home to a rich Native American heritage long before. Parker County was named after Isaac Parker, a local legislator whose niece was abducted by a Comanche tribe and grew up among them. Mineral Wells was named for the local springs which locals believed had medicinal properties. While neighboring Tarrant County began an industrial boom at the turn of the twentieth century, the cities of Weatherford and Mineral Wells maintained their small town feel and roots and that continues today. Many who work in Tarrant County live in Parker County and make their manageable commutes into Downtown Fort Worth and surrounding cities.
Today, visitors to Parker County and locals enjoy large preserved wilderness, parks, and outdoor recreation. Weatherford offers a historic downtown and picturesque courthouse. Finally, the local school systems of Aledo, Azle and Weatherford are local recognized for their academic and athletic programs. In fact, the Aledo Bearcats have recently dominated in state 4-A competition in multiple sports.
